Pour Over: How to Brew

1. Boil a pitcher of water, then let it sit for 30 seconds.

2. Weigh 20g of coffee. I like a 1:16 coffee to water ratio.

3. Grind your beans so that they resemble table salt.

4. Rinse the filter to eliminate any paper filters and preheat your cone. Discard the water.

5. Add your grounds to the filter. Place your cone and cup or carafe on the scale, making sure to zero it out. Pour a little water, around 50g, to saturate your grounds. Wait about 30 seconds, creating a bloom for perfect extraction.

6. Pour the water in a circular motion for about 2 minutes until the scale reads 350g.

7. Enjoy your coffee!
